    Two particle entanglement and its geometric duals

    We show that for a system of two entangled particles, there is a dual description to the particle equations in terms of classical theory of conformally stretched spacetime. We also connect these entangled particle equations with Finsler geometry.     HybridMiner: Mining Maximal Frequent Itemsets Using Hybrid Database Representation Approach

    In this paper we present a novel hybrid (arraybased layout and vertical bitmap layout) database representation approach for mining complete Maximal Frequent Itemset (MFI) on sparse and large datasets. Our work is novel in terms of scalability, item search order and two horizontal and vertical projection techniques. We also present a maximal algorithm using this hybrid database representation approach.     Analysis and Simulation of Wireless Ad-Hoc Network Routing Protocols

    An ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes dynamically forming a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. Ad-hoc networks, characterized by dynamic topology. Each host moves in an arbitrary manner and routes are subject to frequent disconnection. During the period of route reconstruction, packets can be dropped. The loss of packets will cause significant throughput degradation. A number of routing protocols like Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV) and Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector (DSDV. have been implemented. In this project an attempt has been made using network simulator (NS) to compare the performance of two on-demand reactive routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks: DSR and AODV, along with the traditional proactive DSDV protocol, using more stressful parameters, such as a very high mobility, large number of nodes and with a very heavy traffic loads.The simulation results show that at a small to medium field area with a considerably large number of nodes, the tabledriven DSDV protocol performs better than the On-demand protocols, AODV and DSR at low mobility.While On-demand protocols, AODV perform very well at all network conditions. While at large field area all the routing protocols performed poorly due to large number of hops that needed for one node to communicate with another and link breakage are likely to happens. Although DSR and AODV share similar on-demand behavior, the differences in the protocol mechanics can lead to significant performance differentials. The performance differentials are analyzed using varying network load, mobility, and network size. The simulation results show that On-demand routing protocol AODV and Table-driven routing protocol DSDV can be used for most of ad-hoc applications delivering about 95% of data packets to the destination nodes. These simulations are carried out based on the Rice Monarch Project that has made substantial extensions to the NS-2 network simulator to run ad hoc simulations

    The Causality between Indonesian Sharia Stock Index and Market Capitalization: Evidence from Indonesia

    This study investigates the relationship between the sharia stock index and market capitalization in Indonesia for the period 2011-2019. This study uses secondary data, it is monthly time series data with 97 months observation period from May 2011 until March 2019. The analysis technique of this study is the granger causality test that is complemented by the impulse response and variance decomposition test. the findings of the study indicated that there was only a one-way causality relationship between the sharia stock index variable and market capitalization, which only the changes of market capitalization in the past affected the changes of the sharia stock trading value in the present but not vice versa.  The effect of market capitalization changes will be responded strongly by sharia stock in the second and third month, and then return to a new stable condition.     FastLMFI: An Efficient Approach for Local Maximal Patterns Propagation and Maximal Patterns Superset Checking

    Maximal frequent patterns superset checking plays an important role in the efficient mining of complete Maximal Frequent Itemsets (MFI) and maximal search space pruning. In this paper we present a new indexing approach, FastLMFI for local maximal frequent patterns (itemset) propagation and maximal patterns superset checking. Experimental results on different sparse and dense datasets show that our work is better than the previous well known progressive focusing technique. We have also integrated our superset checking approach with an existing state of the art maximal itemsets algorithm Mafia, and compare our results with current best maximal itemsets algorithms afopt-max and FP (zhu)-max.     The reasons behind the absence of a comprehensive Shariah Governance Framework of Islamic banks in Bangladesh

    Purpose: The main objective of the study is to examine the reasons behind the absence of a comprehensive Shariah Governance Framework (SGF) of Islamic banks in Bangladesh. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study has covered 17 respondents through semistructured interviews from the Islamic banks and the Central Bank of Bangladesh with a combination of Shariah supervisory board members, Shariah department executives, Central Bank executives, and banking experts. Findings: Based on findings, this study outlines that the knowledge gap of management, unqualified Shariah supervisory boards members, executives in Central Bank and Islamic banks, and intention of the regulators, policymakers, Shariah experts, government executives, Islamic bankers, Board of directors, stakeholders and civil societies are responsible for the absence of a comprehensive SGF. Practical Implications: The study has significantly contributed to the national regulators, government, and the Central Bank of Bangladesh on the subject for developing a comprehensive Shariah Governance Framework. Originality/Value: The study highlights the reasons for the absence of a comprehensive Shariah Governance Framework which was unexplored for more than 30 years.peer-reviewe
